REQUESTED BY

FOR REAUTHORIZING A SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION FOR AN ADDITION TO

THE ESCALANTE HIGH SCHOOL GYM IN RIO ARRIBA COUNTY.

The period of time in which the balance of the proceeds from the sale of severance tax bonds appropriated to the state department of public education pursuant to Subsection X of Section 12 of Chapter 4 of Laws 1996 (1st S.S.) for planning, designing, constructing or equipping an addition to the Escalante high school gymnasium in Rio Arriba county may be expended shall be extended through fiscal year 2004. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the severance tax bonding fund.
