44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN HOUSE DISTRICT 39 IN THE CITY OF LORDSBURG IN

HIDALGO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state highway and transportation department

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to pave and repair various city streets in Lordsburg in Hidalgo county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for phase 2 construction of the municipal swimming pool in Lordsburg in Hidalgo county; and

to the state department of public education

two hundred twenty-six thousand five hundred dollars ($226,500) for paving improvements to the parking area at the Dugan-Tarango middle school and three elementary schools in the Lordsburg municipal school district in Hidalgo county;

two hundred thirty-eight thousand dollars ($238,000) to re-roof the high school in the Lordsburg municipal school district in Hidalgo county; and

two hundred forty-five thousand dollars ($245,000) to pave and fence the student parking lot at the high school in the Lordsburg municipal school district in Hidalgo county.
