STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN BERNALILLO, TORRANCE AND SANTA FE COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to construct a senior center in Escobosa in Bernalillo county;

to the department of environment

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for phase 3 water system improvements in Tijeras in Bernalillo county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for an east mountain area master plan in Bernalillo county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to acquire land for, design and construct a public health facility for the east mountain areas of Bernalillo, Torrance and Santa Fe counties;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to develop an asphalt walking and jogging trail, off-street parking, erosion control and park improvements at Sunflower park in Bernalillo county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for the visitors' and information center in Tijeras in Bernalillo county; and

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to construct a multipurpose building in Chilili in Bernalillo county.
