44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN LA CIENEGA IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to plan, design and construct a multipurpose community facility, including the purchase of land, in La Cienega in Santa Fe county; and

to the office of the state engineer

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to upgrade the acequia La Cienega, including the existing pond, embankments, head works, concrete ditch lining, pond sealing and pipeline extension of the system, to ensure its use for irrigation in La Cienega in Santa Fe county.
