REQUESTED BY

FOR A REAUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE AND AGENCY OF A

SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION FOR A COMMUNITY CENTER AND LIBRARY

IN LA JOYA IN SOCORRO COUNTY.

The severance tax bond proceeds appropriated to the office of the state engineer pursuant to

Subsection E of Section 9 of Chapter 2 of Laws 1999 (1st S.S.) for improvements to the La Joya acequia

in Socorro county shall not be expended for the original purpose but are reauthorized and appropriated to

the local government division of the department of finance and administration to construct and make

improvements to the La Joya community center and library in Socorro county.
