Your WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 21, strike "individual".

2. On page 1, line 23, before the period insert "but not to exceed an amount equal to the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each exemption allowed the taxpayer for federal income tax purposes for the taxable year".

3. On page 2, line 14, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof a comma and on line 15, before the period insert "and medicare part B premiums".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
