MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND NEW MEXICO COMMUNITY ACCESS TELEVISION PROVIDERS IN OUTREACHING AND COORDINATING ACCESS TO PUBLIC, EDUCATIONAL AND GOVERNMENTAL INFORMATION VIA CABLE ACCESS CHANNELS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six thousand dollars ($6,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the community college board of Santa Fe community college for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of funding New Mexico community access television providers in outreaching and coordinating access to public, educational and governmental information via New Mexico PEG cable access channels. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
