AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SANTA FE PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO FUND PUBLIC SCHOOL ACTIVITIES DURING THE MARIACHI EDUCATIONAL TRAINING CONFERENCE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the Santa Fe public schools for the purpose of funding public school activities during the mariachi educational training conference. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
