Mr. Speaker:

Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 353

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, strike lines 12 and 13 and insert in lieu thereof "COMMISSIONERS' DIVISION.".

2. On page 1, line 24, strike "office of the commissioners" and insert in lieu thereof "commissioners' division".

3. On page 2, between lines 1 and 2, insert the following new section:

"Section 2. A new section of Chapter 8, Article 8 NMSA 1978 is enacted to read:

"[NEW MATERIAL] COMMISSIONERS' DIVISION.--The commissioners' division shall consist of:

A. the commissioners' staff;

B. the hearing examiners; and

C. the general counsel's office."".
