MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR TWO ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATORS TO ENFORCE THE PROVISIONS OF THE LIQUOR CONTROL ACT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-two thousand one hundred dollars ($62,100) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of public safety for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to pay for salaries and benefits for two additional investigators to conduct investigations and enforce the provisions of the Liquor Control Act. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
