MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS TO IMPLEMENT ENHANCEMENTS TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS' STATEWIDE AUTOMATION NETWORK.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the district attorneys for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to install and maintain enhanced telecommunications lines throughout the district attorneys' statewide automation network. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
