Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 162

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, line 2, after "Mexico." add "A plan for a program evaluation, including specific program goals and criteria for assessing effectiveness shall be submitted to the legislative finance committee and the commission on higher education by August 1, 2000 and an assessment shall be completed annually.".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
