    Your CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 214

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 26, lines 2 through 4, remove the opening bracket and the line-through.

    2. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

    3. On page 32, line 6, strike the closing quotation mark and between lines 6 and 7, insert:

         "C. The department may by rule impose additional rules on the establishment of apiaries in New Mexico by out-of-state beekeepers. Rules may include registration of apiary locations and prior approval of their location by the department prior to entry of hives into the state."".

    4. On page 32, line 10, before "inspections", insert "registration,".

    5. On page 81, line 18, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof "and" and strike "and 76-9-10".

    6. On page 81, line 19, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof "and" and strike "and 10".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
