SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___2__ to SENATE HEALTH AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 87

Amendment sponsored by Senator George K. Muñoz

    1. On page 8, line 25, strike "or".

    2. On page 9, line 1, after the semicolon, insert "or".

    3. On page 9, between lines 1 and 2, insert:

                  "(m) protective services investigator;".

    4. On page 12, between lines 14 and 15, insert:

             "(10) "protective services investigator" means a person who is an employee of the protective services division of the children, youth and families department who investigates child abuse referrals, assesses the risk and safety of the child and takes appropriate action or prepares cases for transfer to child protective services permanency planning;".

    5. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.
